This answer is specific to prepaid Visa or Mastercard gift cards where the refund is going back to that original form of payment.

For a Visa or Mastercard gift card:
- If you’ve made a return or canceled a purchase using a Visa or Mastercard gift card, you are eligible for a refund as long as the gift card is still valid and in your possession.
- The funds never expire for a Visa or Mastercard gift card. If it is past the valid thru date on the card, you may need to get a new card issued.

For a merchant-specific gift card:
- Refunds for merchant-specific gift cards vary widely. Some merchants do store credit, and others issue refunds to another form of payment. Contact the merchant directly for their specific policies.

Refund Processing Time:
- Processing times can be long. It may take up to 15 business days for the refund to settle and appear on the prepaid gift card's balance.

For a Gift Card in Your Possession:
- Credits for canceled or returned orders will be applied directly to your existing prepaid Visa or Mastercard gift card.

Lost or Discarded Cards:
- If you have discarded your physical or digital Prepaid Visa or Mastercard, a replacement card may be issued in some cases. (Refer to the Lost or Stolen Cards section for more details.)
- If you’ve discarded a physical merchant-specific gift card, there is generally no recourse. However, you can contact the merchant for further assistance.
- If you’ve discarded a digital merchant-specific gift card, you can contact Granny support and request that the original digital gift card link be resent.
